First of all may i start by defining the two terms - relativism and subjectivism.
Relativism (concerning truth and philosophical thought) pertains to the a group or collective thought/movement. Such as relative truth within communities.
Subjectivism (in the same vain) pertains to the individual. So that the subjective truth is the truth of an individual, not of a social standard, thus an individual cannot hold singular relativist ideal but share relativist ideals.
Thus when a person is, in a relativist manner, branded as a freak by one community and yet viewed as a normal person by the standards of yet another, the ideal of a metaphysical truth dissapears. For the same person cannot exist as two diametrically opposed concepts.
The standard objection to this is that the truth we are judging the person upon (be it freak or norm) are subjective values of individuals that collectively are represented by a 'relative perspective'. However this argument is inherently flawed.
The only option to counter this argument (perhaps inefficiently) is to point out an inherent paradox. That is to say the aforementioned argument seeks to resolve the lack of metaphysical truth by in turn creating a single universal, and thus metaphyisical, law to all truth - be that relative, subjective, etc.
