Review; In Rainbows
Album of the year would be an understatement. Anything else would be tosh.
Radiohead attempted to release Kid A and Amnesiac as a double album but the record label faulted. Now, released from their demonic masters, In Rainbows is delayed released as a double album exclusively to those who forked out for the box set.
The eight previously unreleased tracks develop Radiohead's latest album to the heights of The Beatle's White Album. And probably to the same criticisms (the notorious 'cut such and such and it could have been one TERRIFIC single album').
But no such criticism here. Every song counts, every minute matters.
