So this is what i have to play in at the very moment. I don't have to walk anywhere for my park, reserve, or any animals. they all come to me. every morning a large contigent of cockatoos come in to eat the fruit and remaing birdseed. My sister in-law feeds caged birds and leaves some out for the natives. Following the cockatoos are galahs and wild pigeons. In the afternoon is a variety of minor birds, and other aussie natives. And of an evening bats, and some sqwarking bird i haven't seen only heard. so we get a lot of birds. if i walk down to the paddock where the horse is and sit for a bit - usually reading a book - the ducks and rabbits come by. if a get down early in the morning the odd pademelon hops about.
So, it seems people are in the habit of having their own private parks around these parts. As often on my walks i have been given quite deep and long stares, and questioning glances. Many clear signs stating that it is private property, and dogs everywhere...barking and otherwise working themselves into a state if one comes anywhere near the perimeter. It's all a bit funny really. I just want to see what their parks look like.
Anyways enjoy this shot of my backyard. If you are one of the select few who have priviledged access to my flickr site then peruse away. I have finally got out the dslr and i expect to carry it around when the rain clears.
